I've just launched a free and ultimately reliable way to transfer your photos and videos from Flickr to Google Photos: http://www.transferfrom.xyz/flickr-to-google-photos   Having faced the hassle of moving my own massive photo collection (and the location-data that Flickr kindly strips out) between platforms, trying various ways, failing.   I determined that I'd have write my own program to do it - so I built one.  (In Python - a new language that I'm learning).
